Before The Food Untold was established in 2020, science-based food blogs were not as many as similar niches, such as cooking or culinary arts. This was the reason why The Food Untold was started, a blog that discusses things that are compelling to the curious consumers, students, educators, and those who work tirelessly to keep the global food system (from growing to disposing food and food-related items) moving efficiently.
The Food Untold is a brainchild of Sandman, the author. He is a food technologist by profession from the Philippines, and is currently living in South Korea.
